What music events are you looking forward to this Year?

Well there's Bruce Springsteen at Hampden, which I'm so excited about that I havent yet bought my ticket. And I'm in the same boat with Take That.

Reading
Got tickets so most, if not all the Clangers, are coming with me
I gather Mr Soupy is not keen to go
muttering about cows farting over dykes and he'd rather stay and feed the cat than live in a muddy field with chemical toilets etc etc...

I've got my ticket for the wonderful PJ Harvey and John Parish in April at the Queen's Hall.

I saw Little Feat and Dr John there last year too -- both excellent gigs. It can sound a bit muddy, but the atmosphere's good.

I might be at T in the Park this year. It's walking distance from my house. Which is nice and handy. A friend's son wants to go (he's 12) and neither Mum or Dad want to go, so I've been asked to do the honours. Which I don't mind. I went last year for the first time and had a great time.

I'm definitely going to Frenzy at Ingleston. There's some excellent bands playing there. I went a couple of years ago and haven't managed to get back again till this year. :D

Anyone else going to see Oasis?
I was kind of cool about the prospect initially, but now I'm really looking forward to it.

Not me.

I've got tickets for a few gigs over the coming months but its all to see sad bands/artists from the late 70s/80s who should probably know better than to try and relive their glory days.
I never quite got to grips with modern music . I believe Mr. Liam is a new man these days. He works out and even has his own clothing range.

Bet he still walks about like he's keeched his pants though. Let us know, won't you?

That'll be Wed night ruined for me now you old throw back

Are you going to see Steve Earle ecm? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he adds an Edinburgh venue to the other Scottish dates.

And I don't want to think about what an excited Scoop and Epy at Hampden might be like!

No, I'm not going. I see they've added a date in Perth though so maybe they'll get an Edinburgh date sorted too.

Nah, they were crap - ha,ha,ha,ha

Only joking of course! Absolutely spectacular x 10! Even if you hated Take That more than anything in the world you couldn't fail to be impressed by the show. I want to see it again but I'm too exhausted

Can't wait til Thursday for T in the Park! Taking my 2 eldest kids and sleeping in the camper... luxury compared to the campsite...lol

We bought 4 tickets but someone can't go so if your interested its for Thurs to Sunday camping and we can also give you a lift if you like. I've listed in on pbay ;-) Selling for face value of £180.75 .. if it doesn't sell my youngest is coming too even if he doesn't really want too ;-)

Saw Oasis a couple of weeks back and they were pretty dam good. Aside from the over whelming invasion from the West Coast and the ridiculous bar que it was a great night.

Kasabian were really good, only caught the end of The Enemy.

Also saw Tam White agian this year. As usualy he was pretty good. The support act weren;t that great. Preaching politics in between songs isn't my cup of tea.

Forgot to add....

Also looking forward to Porty Festival on the 6th September. If it goes well they are hoping to make it a three day event next year :-)

So pass the news!
