Room one complete..... (at last)

Before ...... Heavily nicotine ridden walls and skirting, bad lights and a 12 year old worn carpet....

After ..... Freshened up with new flooring, lighting (ceiling and floor) and fireplace....

So that's what you've been up to. We were wondering how it was all going.

It looks great. You're going for an extreme minimalist look, I see. Furniture is so last year.

which room's next then? or are you having a breather now?

The Reason Ive been so quiet for the last few months

Had to knock down a wall to get this damn couch down here!!

Basement PC room with all the video crap to make the screen work with the DVD/TV/PC

absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!

1. can you go into some detail about the fruit machines

2. have you ever thought about a "learning" remote so you can chuck out those 5 and have one thats more adaptive?

you can get ones which are touch screen and have custom icons which perform more than one function - ie touch one button and the remote turns on your amp, waits a second while it warms up then turns on the tv, etc etc

M has been working on the ground floor.....

Not too much of a change....just colour, and 3 coats of paint!

And a door to the garage!

Cleaned..... repainted......relit.... and refloored

The Old Kitchen

Ripped up the floor, down with the ceramic, a few white goods, and Bobs your uncle

Carpeted Nicotine Haven..

Basked in a warm glow!! and now with furniture and cats!!!

Dining room....No before pics, but it did look a bit crap

Picked the fruit machines up in a sale at Zellers, I think they are from Japan, as they are pretty loud when you win....(and also have Japanese writing inside!!) they run on tokens ( you get 1000 tokens with them)

and I have a Sony RMAX4000 Universal Remote on order so hopefully I can chuck the rest!!

The End is near!!

Cold and Stripped to Warm and Cozy!!

Pretty much the same but different side, with a strange red light appearing at the top of the after picture

Great view down the valley from the window, But nothing else

Now a TV and Computer room for M to sit and relax

Sitting area in Library to chill and......I suppose read a book!

Same room different angle

Our bathroom, Once not so Pretty in Pink. Now a colour that stops you barfing!

Pretty much the same with the guest bathroom, well we did have left over paint! can you guess a fireman used to live here

Guest bedroom, comfortable and secluded

Our bedroom...Off with the blue and up with the warm tones and curtains!

Same room but towards our bathroom

Sign of age...TV in the bedroom!!

...

Cleaner, and now there is somewhere to put the litter tray!! (Under an Automated air freshner!!)

And now for the small room....downstairs bog!

Very small and compact

Upcoming project.....The Garage!!

Until then its time to relax in the cold with a nice steak!!

Finished for now....Now..... when to start on that Bar????????
