A couple of shops are closed just now - I think for Trades holidays?

Retro Times is closing down, noticed signs promoting a closing down sale on display today. Its only been on the High Street for a very short time, not sure how much it will be missed.

It then closed down a month or so ago, only a week or two after opening.

What's happening with La Favorita at the moment? It seems to be boarded up and the opening soon posters have gone.

The Mousehole Deli looks like it'll be an attractive addition to the High Street.

And I noticed today that the newsagent that was Julia's on the corner of Bellfield Street has its 'for sale' sign down and looked there was work going on. Anyone know what that's going to be?

The proposed out-of-centre retail development does not accord with local planning policy that requires such proposals to be located in sequentially preferable sites and to address a deficiency in the area and is contrary to parts (a) and (d) of policy Ret 5. Local support, employment opportunities and redevelopment of the vacant site are material considerations but do not outweigh local plan policies and do not justify approval.

I see Izzy's has a sign up saying under new management tonight. When did that happen? Says it's going to be selling European and Indian food all day.
