Has anyone else noticed the strong smell and taste of Chlorine in the local tap water recently? It seems to come and go, but I'd say its been present at least half the days over the last three weeks.
Its bad enough that I have to evacuate the bathroom for 10 minutes for it to clear if I run a bath!
I'm on the Joppa end of Porty not to far from the St Andrews restaurant

I've not noticed anything
Maybe contact environmental health and Scottish water?
Keep a sample of the water from when you notice the smell.
Is it all the taps in your house or just one area?
Have you changed any cleaning products lately?
Some can interact with one another, ie bleach the toilet cleaner, bleach and drain cleaner, and so on

I've noticed it, you're not going mental. It's not so bad that I've had to leave the room but there's definitely a chloriney whiff coming from the tap when I'm brushing my teeth. I'm further up the road from you so that might be why it's not as strong here.
