Lets talk GPs - who should I see about being...pregnant!!!

Post by CallmeDebs » 22 Aug 2009, 17:11

I seem to be a little pregnant! :D

I always just take next available doctor but now Im keen to pick a good one to see as this is my first pregnancy and I am all over the place with excitement and worry.

I also want someone who will be good with slightly hippy/alternative health stuff as I am a bit like that.

thanks people x

Don't think it makes a lot of difference re GPs since they just hand you over to the Hospital. Much better to find a good midwife.

It's been a while since I've been a little bit pregnant though
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

We had a great home birth experience 3 months ago. Porty midwife team fantastic.

You might pop along to the Cafe Ba breast feeding group at St Phillips Church, to speak to some mums, Monday I think. Sorry can't be more specific - I'm the dad.

Not sure how this forum works. My partner would probably be v happy to give you more thoughts offline.
