I am not as foot loose and fancy free as i once was, but i am realising that most of the people that seem to post here are either too old to remeber their youth or, more likely, had no life to begin with - what is with all the complaining about development, new night life features etc...
It seems a lot fear regarding change is growing amongst you all... fair do's no-one want a new supermarket (unless they get rid of Scotmid 1st) but does not mean we do not accept change... change, if done sympathetically, is required to sustain a decent future (not for you lot, but for the kids - yes the same kids you are probably phoning the police about now) - so think a lot of the over 40's here should have a wee look in the mirror and seriously think how sad it is to come onto a forum on the computer and moan religiously about the place I love.
