In this photo are Plug/Mr Poppy/El Presidente, Pal of Porty and even Mr Lizzie. Anyone recognise any of the others?! And where and when?!
Hunks
PS Thanks to Bob for setting up the link to the photo.

I can't recognise Plug, PoP or anyone else for that matter.
Got to have been taken 30 years ago at least.
Why have half of them got stripey shirts on and the others plain?
Apart from cardi-man and blazer-bloke, that is.

White tops = FPs
Stripes = skool boys
Cardi-man = coach (art teecher)
Blazer man = FP not playing [injured perhaps] and who is Plug's oldest friend

That's the old scoreboard at Murrayfield in the background, isn't it?
If that's the old east terracing then its tiny compared to how I remember it when packed with thousands of bodies.
Doesn't look big enough now.

Yes, yes but which is Plug, PoP et all. I am primed and ready to laugh like a drain.
I think I recognise the coach right enough. He was a Housemaster when I was at PHS if I've got the right bloke.

OK - I'll have a guess that Plug is the chap in the back holding the cup?

Think PoP is second left front row, with a fairly sensible haircut

Ha! I should have picked the good-looking one, right enough?
Let's face it - they're a right shower of badly-permed, mullet headed, mustachioed so and so's.
Not like we didn't have hideous hair days back then too, I suppose.

I recognise PoP but that's all. The one holding the shield looks familiar but he probably just reminds me of someone else.

Yeah, but they were young and hairy and as near to being in their primes as dammit.
It's sad really.
You look at old photies like this, then look in the mirror and you just want to kick old Father Time squarely in the badoobies, don't you?

Is the guy with the shield the guy who ran/runs the Ormelie? And is Porty blazer man? The guy at the back with the Kevin Keegan perm, is that Peter from the hairdressers? Or am I wrong on every count (I was more into footballers ........

)
And not one of them looks anything like George Clooney - even on a bad day

Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

The only one I can answer (without phoning Plug and interrupting him ironing

) is that none of them are Porty ... he was (ha ha!) too young

to be in the photie, I believe.

Speaking of scary, what about that guy holding the shield and his haircut??
Is it part of him? Or does it have its own life and career as a tv/movie stand in for a King Charles spaniel?

They are about the same era as you so I'd watch it - can ecm supply any photograhic evidence of your dandyism at the time??

Are you talking about the guy behind PoP? If so, no that's not Mr Lizzie.

Ha! Was it the "wet look" you were going for when we met this morning?!
Anyway, just because you had hair
foxy's paws in the past - is there any need to give your poor wee dog a skinhead? Eh?
