Like I said 'pataphysical
The term first appeared in print in Alfred Jarry's article "Guignol" in the 28 April 1893 issue of L'Écho de Paris littéraire illustré. Jarry later defined it as "the science of imaginary solutions, which symbolically attributes the properties of objects, described by their virtuality, to their lineaments" (Gestes et opinions du Docteur Faustroll, II, viii). Raymond Queneau has described 'pataphysics as resting "on the truth of contradictions and exceptions." It is a parody of the theory and methods of modern science and is often expressed in nonsensical language. A practitioner of 'pataphysics is a 'pataphysician or a 'pataphysicist.
We're all virtual here so why not get along?
Do any of us exist virtual or not.
Some days I doubt I exist.

Hi,
Well i have actually been on here for a bit now but never introduced myself so thought i should!!!
So hear goes...
I am in my early twenties
I live in Joppa
Love eating out
Driving
Nice cars
Going out with my mates
Exploring new places
At this moment in time i am really hating people that can't drive

Anyway think thats quite enough...i could rant of for hours!!!

Hello from Pb
Never got round to saying a formal hello on this thread, thought I'd better get round to it sooner rather than later.
I'm Pb (Puerto bella), have lived in Bath Street since '96 with other half. We have a 2 year old son. Spend most of our free time pottering around Porty, clocking up mileage on the Prom, as you do, and at our allotment up at Brunstane growing all sorts of wierd and wonderful things to eat.
Love living here, couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

Wierd and Wonderful
I try to grow things you can't buy in the shops - odd coloured carrots, old fashioned potato varieties, all different types of lettuces, mainly spanish varieties of peas and beans, the most amazing strawbs from Denmark, purple broc which you can now get in the shops but which tends to be expensive, purple asparagus, chard, beets, artichokes and lots more.
I'd recommend it to anyone - a great way to relax and you can eat the fruits of your labour, saves you quite a few pennies also.

I feel spoiled now when I am forced to buy tasteless carrots or unearthy potatos. Glad we have real strawbs and not the bouncing ones that you buy in the shops.
Made some excellent jam today - any jammers out there - try mixing your blackcurrants (2/3) with red currants (1/3) and it tastes fab so much sweeter rather than too tartish. Might have a slice of toast with some on for our supper......mmmmh.
