Banging/piston/sound

Does anyone know what the banging, piston type noise is?. It's been around for the last few days during the day.

It's the flats being built on windsor place, they are driving large pylons into the ground untill they hit rock.They need to do 52, so far they've done 11. My house is bouncing!
