OK I'm a teeny bit biased as the drummer, Noel, is a wee brother of a pal from home (and I feel ancient as I remember him only as a baby, without the beard). However, I reckon their single, due out tomorrow , could do really well. Good luck to them!
Just heard Attic Lights' Wendy being played by Mark Radcliffe on Radio 2.
I saw them support The Delays a few months back at the Liquid Rooms and I thought they were quite good. Will check out the single.

Leigh was playing a band called Vampire Weekend last night and they sounded pretty good.

I've been listening to the new Pink album "Funhouse". I really like it. It's got a great mix of ballads and upbeat songs.
I wanted to go and see het at the SECC in April but I couldn't get a ticket.
Ticketmaster wasn't working (as far as Pink was concerned) Although it was working the day before for the pre sale tickets (35.50).
The greedy SECC wanted £75 a ticket (starting price).!!!

Another plug for this band, featuring Portobello resident Andrew on drums. They have a chance to play in this year's Battle of the Bands final if they get enough votes in the EN online vote.

Listen to their track, along with all the other entrants at:

What you listening to at the moment?

Does it have to be something musical?

Its my neighbours arguing, they have been at it for ages now, I do wish they would close their windows.

That's probably Ali. He's a right grumpy old sod, but quite musical too, so you can still include him on here.

When I was younger even although the reception on the radio could be crackly at times, I used to love listening to radio Luxembourg especially as it had so little chit-chat :) I thought that it had eventually closed down but I heard recently that it had been resurrected :D http://www.radioluxembourg.co.uk/cms/index.php

Ive just been on itunes getting some new tracks for the week ahead and got Grafton Street, a track from 'Safe trip home', the new album from Dido released next week.

Sounds okay, though to be honest all her songs really sound the same. Looking forward to the album being released since its been a while since the last one.

The Rezillos on Mark Lamarr's God's Jukebox show from last night, featuring the new single, 'No. 1 Boy' along with 'Can't Stand My Baby' and 3 new tracks. The show also pays tribute to the late, great Lux Interior of The Cramps.

God's Jukebox

(The Rezillos sections of the show start around 24mins, 1hr 25mins and 2hr 27mins.)

As a bonus there is an extra track, exclusively on Mark's website. It's one of Fay's favourite songs, River Deep, Mountain High. Tina Turner she aint, but she certainly gives it some laldy.

Which albums? Radiohead are by some distance the best thing I've heard live. It saddens me that what seems like a majority don't like the sound.even pop only likes a few songs and only from the bends. You are in for a treat
