Forgive this small indulgence but I'm understandably rather pleased that my team are back in the football league.

Maybe not so significant but congratulations are also due to Huntly FC who are once again the Highland League champions. :D
Unfortunately they have nowhere to move up to

It ended up being a bit of a disastrous (allbeit predictable) season for me. Crystal Palace went down and my adopted team, the mighty East Stirlingshire, finishing miles adrift at the bottom of the Scottish 3rd.

Anyone care?......thought not.

Seems fair enough. Mind you I think Foxy might have something to say about it. Maybe we could palm her off with George Clooney? What do you think?

carlisle going up weh hey

Post by prombabe » 28 May 2005, 16:58

Didn't expect to see a Carlisle supporter on this site, pleasently surprised.Mr P is an avid supporter as he is from Carlisle and has been all his life ,he's also one of Chelsea's biggist fans, and was very dissapointed when Liverpool got through, but my son in law to be is a Liverpool supporter so he was pleased and went to see the parade ,He and my daughter stayed with my son who is an Everton supporter, and was gutted when his wife (who runs a pub with him) decked it out in Liverpool regalia, but as she said business is business, anyway you can see why I keep out of it,
Carlisle better STAY up this time though, their fans as I have found out are nationwide. :wav: to you too.

PS; girls ........He' is rather dishy is'nt he and as my hubby is the Chelsea supporter I'M AT THE FRONT OF THE QUEUE

Excuse me, no you could not... sad to say George is last year's pin-up and somewhat drab by comparison

Jose is the man who has everything,...except me... he just doesn't know it yet
