) maybe you'll manage this one. We DESPERATELY need somebody with a van, pickup, lorry, trailer, donkey, anything who would be willing to collect a couple of tons of compost from the Botanic Gardens and deliver it to the school (free of charge obviously).
We have very generously been offered as much compost/topsoil as we need from the Botanics but have to collect it ourselves. If we can't take advantage of this then the whole doing up the playground thing is more or less off. We've been let down by Standard Life who said they would help us to do the playground but apparently can't get any volunteers so it's back to Plan A - do it yourself
If anybody can help in any way we'd be really grateful. Just get in touch. (Catz, you are obviously exempt from this plea
