Congratulations to you both. Our first forum wedding as far as I'm aware - hope you are going to post some pics of the big day. Did wangi get the job?

I just wrote a nice post and the page wouldn't load and it disappeared!

Sandra and bearcub, I hope the weather forecast is wrong and the sun shines on you, but whatever the weather it'll be a wonderful day. We wish you every happiness in your life together. Our warmest congratulations.

Love,
Bellybabe and other half.

Hi everyone

Thanks for all your good wishes and lovely pictures.

We had a fabulous day - I loved every minute of it and was not nervous at all! I felt brilliant and Bearcub looked fab in his kilt with the plaid. I walked down to the church on my dad's arm from the hotel and passers by stopped to watch!

It was an amazing day - Wangi - enjoy every minute of it in September.

Luckily the rain stayed away and we got a little bit of sun.

Will definitely post some piccies.

Only bad thing was my brother in law took ill and had to go to hospital, he got out but is now back in hospital at home - so fingers crossed he will be ok.

Thanks again for your good wishes

S

Yes, thanks everyone for all you messages and good wishes.

It was a fantastic day, and the weather turning nicer couldn't have been timed any better - the sun came out about 1/2 hour before the wedding :D

Despite all of Sandra's worries, it was me that was the more nervous on the day! I'm just getting used to there being a Mrs Bearcub!!

Thanks again, and yes, we will post a picture or two. :D

Great to hear your day went well.

CONGRATULATIONS from GG and me!

We were thinking about you and noticed that the weather changed just at the right time. Sandra, I do like a man in a plaid - that's what GG worn at our wedding - very lovely!

Well done to both of you!

We went up north for a few days Mimpty. Our first stop was Boath House near Nairn - the food and bedroom was to die for - twin roll top baths looking out into the grounds and lake and the food was gorgeous - gym here I come! It was all antique furniture and brilliant service, its a husband and wife team who own and run it, they also have a beauty therapist who does brilliant massages... bliss. Well worth a visit.. we are saving up for next time.

Boath House

We also went to Lodge on the Loch near Fort William, unfortunately the company who own it are selling it off so the husband and wife team who ran it decided not to do another season. The room and views were still stunning but the body and soul and nice little touches had gone. Still it was nice to get away from work!

Haven't actually visited Boath House but I have relations in Auldearn where it is. Nice wee place.
Glad you had a nice honeymoon and welcome back. Hope Bess is none the worse for her visit to the kennels, bet she was happy to see you again.

I know it's the wrong thread but sorry to hear of your brother in laws illness Sandra, I hope he is making a recovery. It sounded pretty serious.

Bearcub obviously still has his head in the clouds - I was banging on my window this morning to wave to him but he didn't look up!
