Re: PPAG's latest dirty tricks at Morrisons
I was at Morrison's at about 10am on Saturday morning and was a bit surprised to see a table set up between the two sets of doors manned by people looking for signatures to Save Porty Park. I didn't see any sign of any activity for those on the other side of the issue but there might well have been....

Re: Rathbone's Ramblin'
I do feel sorry for all of you, both the victims of this endless hate campaign and the people who cannot see how their hysterical invective appears to others. Personally I’m fed up coming on here every day and only finding the same old shit, so I’m off. Bye. I'm sorry you feel the way you do, Rathb...

Re: Catch up - Malvarosa
Is this a ladies only lunch? CHEERS NELSON No, not just ladies but only a small gathering due to pathetic uptake. It's an early evening chow and don't know if it's possible to change booking now. Sandra would know perhaps? I hear it can be quite a busy place on the weekend. If making the meal isn't...

Re: Stupid things that make you happy
When I've hung washing on the line I like to stand back and admire it - especially if it's flapping about a bit  Yes, I'm with you on that one, E. That can make me stupidly happy too but only if the items are hung in order of size going from south to north along my washing line starting with ...

Anyone else going to see Oasis? Not me. I've got tickets for a few gigs over the coming months but its all to see sad bands/artists from the late 70s/80s who should probably know better than to try and relive their glory days. I never quite got to grips with modern music . I believe Mr. Liam...

We were down on Porty beach that night and I just knew something didn't look right over at East Lothian. Berwick Law looked mushroom shaped and then, two minutes later, it was its usual form and then another two minutes later it looked almost rectangular. Most puzzling. Excellent photies (although I...

The EN published the official finishing times today. Homer finished in 39th place overall and in 8th place in his age category with a new PB that knocked almost 5 minutes off last year's run. Not a bad effort. That's a fantastic time, Homer. What an achievement http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v45...

I knew somebody who had 3 placentas in her freezer  . Plan was to plant a tree for each baby and bury the placenta under the tree to 'nourish it - and continue the cycle of growth'. Needless to say, she never quite got round to it.....I don't see much of her now. Maybe she made them into ear...

It's not bad depending on what you're looking to listen to. I've drawn quite a few blanks so far. A great way to try before you buy in most cases though.impossiblevoices wrote: Now, is it just me or is Spotify TOTALLY INCREDIBLE?

Giving no thought at all to the boy who was constantly teased at school for looking like a girl. Sandra, you probably don't remember me, but I was that boy. What rubbish! Bob, did you see any roe deer at Aberlady today? We saw a couple there between the path and shore and later at the pond a couple of weeks ago. Also a seal at Gullane Point. Re: Pramonition?
It seemed unnatural. Surely, any parent would want to face their child and have some interaction as they walked? Not if the baby is unspeakably ugly and getting it out for a hurl in this front facing buggy gives it's poor Mum a bit of respite from looking upon it's hideous visage. Bit unfair to inf...

Attic Lights - Never Get Sick of the Sea OK I'm a teeny bit biased as the drummer, Noel, is a wee brother of a pal from home (and I feel ancient as I remember him only as a baby, without the beard). To be honest, I quite fancy it myself. The only problem last time was getting a good look at him. Bad combination of vaulted ceiling and him being about 6 foot 6 tall. He's playing Cabaret Voltaire on Sunday. I saw him there a few years ago supporting someone. I was so taken with Hayes as support that I've since forgotten who topped the bill.
Hayes was fantastic and such a handsome chap. Quite the comedian too.
