Re: Portobello Community Council
Read the article in the EEN on 20/4/13 regarding the PCC. Not sure who the forum poster GNR is, but seems to be someone on PCC, and to suggest that the community has gone down the sewer really highlights the contempt that these people have against anyone who disagrees with them.

New Cinema
Good news that the planning committee has ignored the advice of the planning officials and given the go ahead for a new cinema at Fort Kinnaird.

Interesting that the CC apparently represents 11737 people, and when 12000 pepole make their voices known and 75% of these want the school built, surely the CC will have to listen.

This has actually been promoted by the organisers of "Big Things on the Beach" to encourage the public to get involved in public art. What you are doing is not so much dancing with danger, but rather, it is a paradigm of self expression and discovery through body movement. You are, unwittingly demon...

Apparently it is being promoted by PCC and PPAG as a warning as to what we can expect around the rest of Porty if a new school is built on the existing dog toilet.

The document list on CECs planning portal does have a compiled list of those for and those against. Stephen's e mail is filed in the wrong one. You have to wonder about openness when certain people send in their own objections and then bombard the council with the same thing under a number of differ...

Noticed one of the 44 objections is actually Stephen McIntyre's letter of support. A number of the others are worded in exactly the same way, so have obviously come from the same source, but with their friends putting their names to them. There are a few others, and taking account of the, dare I say...
